At The Hideaway Youth Project, our Schools Programme brings the heart of youth work directly into schools, supporting young people’s personal and social development through engaging, non-formal educational activities. Our dedicated Youth Workers help students build life skills, resilience, and lasting social connections.
In our sessions, young people have the opportunity to voice their opinions, take an active role in their own growth, and strengthen relationships with both peers and staff. Our Youth Workers provide a safe, supportive environment where students can challenge their behaviours and connect more meaningfully within school—and beyond.

Integrating youth work into the school setting results in stronger bonds between pupils and staff, improved attendance, better behaviour, and higher achievement. These outcomes demonstrate just how powerful youth work can be in shaping positive educational experiences.
