Can Work It Out is Hideaway Youth Project’s dedicated youth employment, skills, and training programme, supporting young people in Moss Side, Hulme, and Rusholme to access meaningful career opportunities. This initiative is part of the Manchester Peace Together Alliance, a partnership with The Royal Foundation and Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Manchester City Council, The Growth Hub and the business community.

Manchester has made progress in reducing youth violence, but challenges remain. By focusing on employment, training, and skills development, we provide young people with the tools to build positive futures, reducing the risk of crime and exclusion.
Get involved
This programme is part of a wider strategy to create sustainable and scalable employment solutions across Greater Manchester.
Businesses including Manchester City FC, Co-op, EY, Timpson Group, and many more have already pledged their support.
